I'm a children's author whose first book 'Zelah Green: Queen of Clean'  is published by Egmont UK and was shortlisted for the 2009 Waterstones Children's Book Prize. The sequel 'Zelah Green: Dating Queen' is due for release February 2010. I'm also a freelance book reviewer and the author of three books on Virginia Woolf and I co-edit 'The Virginia Woolf Bulletin', the magazine of the Virginia Woolf Society of Great Britain. I work as a reader for a literary consultancy.

I'm represented by Peter Buckman at the Ampersand Agency and live near Chichester harbour.
