I'm a children's author whose first book 'Zelah Green: Queen of Clean' is published by Egmont UK and won the Manchester Children's Book Awards 2010. It is currently longlisted for the Young Minds Award. It was also shortlisted for the 2009 Waterstones Children's Book Prize, the NASEN awards and the 2010 Bolton Children's Book Awards. The sequel 'Zelah Green: One More Little Problem' is due for release July 2010. The first book in my new series, 'The Taming of Lilah May' will be published by Frances Lincoln in March 2011.
I'm also a freelance book reviewer and the author of three books on Virginia Woolf.
I'm represented by Peter Buckman at the Ampersand Agency and live near Chichester harbour.
